Postcard from Maine #11

Katrina's bow.

The Concordia yawl "Katrina" was built in 1963 at the Abeking & Rasmusen shipyard in Germany and shipped to the USA.  It takes a special commitment to keep a varnished hull finished "bright".  The craftsmen at Brooklin Boatyard are obviously up to the task at hand.  She looks perfect.  It must be like sailing a fine piece of furniture!
